With a shuttle bus ticket you can reach the start of the Wandel4daagse Alkmaar very easily. Order your ticket when you register. The tickets can only be ordered during your registration for the Wandel4daagse Alkmaar. It is not possible to buy a shuttle bus ticket on the spot.
Alkmaar is easily accessible by train. The four start and finish places are also easily accessible with the scheduled buses or you can use the shuttle buses. We therefore advise you to use public transport.

Participants who choose to travel by car can park for free at the start and finish points. Parking facilities are available at both De Meent Sports Complex (Wednesday) and at the AFAS Stadium (Friday). At Sporthal Hoornse Vaart (Thursday) and at Sportcomplex Oosterhout (Saturday) the possibilities are limited and you have to walk a short distance from the parking lot to the start and finish place.
For participants who come by bicycle, there are daily possibilities to park the bicycle at the start and finish places. The bicycle shed is free and unattended. Bicycles attached to a crush barrier will be removed.
On Saturday, bicycles can also be parked near the finish in the underground bicycle parking Theater De Vest / Canadaplein (open between 7.30 and 23.30 hours). From here it’s a 20 minute walk to the starting location, Sport complex Oosterhout.
